Hyderabad: The mega hit film “Pushpa: The Rise” is also enjoying tremendous success now making waves on ‘Global YouTube Top Songs’ chart. The three Telugu soundtracks ‘O Antava…Oo Oo Antava’, ‘Saami Saami’, ‘Srivalli’ are in the Top 10, at No 1, No 3 and No 6 position respectively, a rarity for Indian artists.
The soundtrack ‘O Antava…Oo Oo Antava’ Telugu Lyrical is a top performer, reaching No 1 on the chart last week and has been staying there ever since. The video received a whopping 132 million views on the digital platform. ‘Srivalli’ (Telugu) released eleven weeks ago jumped 18 places to reach No 6 on this week’s listing. This video earned 124 million views thus far. And, ‘Saami Saami’ (Telugu) Lyrical which accounts for 115 million views is currently at No 3, was at No 2 last week, slightly witnessing a downward trend this week. It is incredible that even 11 weeks after the release of ‘Saami Saami’, it still enjoys a high place on the charts.
‘Oo Antava…Oo Oo Antava’ and ‘Saami Saami’ are sung by debutant playback singers Indravati Chauhan and Mounika Yadav respectively. And, ‘Srivalli’ is crooned by Sid Sriram, the artist who is on a record-breaking spree for the past two years in the South.
The emergence of three Indian singers at the same time on the Global music chart, that too in the Top 10, proves the music world is not any more an exclusive domain of foreign artists. The mind-blowing performance of the singers also reflects that people enjoy music irrespective of language and region barriers.
Debutantes Mounika Yadav and Indravati Chauhan who have given mega hits with their mellifluous voice, now simply excelled on the Global chart forcing millions to take notice of them. The three songs buzzing the most worldwide in real time have generated a crazy excitement among music lovers now.
While prolific singers Indravati Chauhan and Mounika Yadav have achieved phenomenal success online with their folk songs which have earned millions of praises, Sid Sriram, Carnatic musician, is already a household name in both the Telugu states and in other parts of South on account of many of his film songs becoming smashing hits.
