Hyderabad: Leaders from Manthani Assembly constituency on Thursday said the TRS was supreme for them and not former Health Minister Eatela Rajender.

Refuting the rumours spread on social media against former MLA Putta Madhu, the party leaders said a few elements were conspiring against Madhu in the name of Rajender’s issue. The party leaders said they would continue to work hard to strengthen the party in Manthani.

They urged the party activists not to believe in rumours against Madhu and said they will work for the party till their last breath. With the blessings of MLC K Kavitha, Madhu got an Assembly ticket in 2014 and became Manthani MLA, they said.

Stating that Madhu developed the constituency on all fronts with the support of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, IT Minister KT Rama Rao and MLC Kavitha, the leader said, he, however, lost the elections in 2018. But he is working for the development of the constituency as Chairman of Peddapalli Zilla Parishad.
