Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar participated in Ramzan prayers here on Friday and extended the festival greetings to Muslims.
A prayer meeting with a small group of Muslim community elders was organised at the Minister’s residence marking Eid-ul-fitr duly following Covid-19 guidelines. The fasting during the holy month of Ramzan was a time of spiritual reflection, self-improvement and devotion, he said.
The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao introduced several schemes and programmes for helping the progress of minority communities in Telangana. As a result the minorities were living with self-respect in the State, Ajay Kumar said.
