Puvvada to donate 50 vehicles to differently-abled on KTR’s birthday
Ajay Kumar recalled that Rama Rao, in a generous gesture, had donated six ambulances on his birthday last year under 'GiftASmile' to help those in medical emergencies.
Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Thursday announced that he would donate 50 vehicles to differently-abled persons on the occasion of IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s birthday on July 24.
In a statement here, he said he was inspired by the Minster’s decision to donate custom-made vehicles to 100 differently-abled persons in his personal capacity as part of ‘GiftASmile’ initiative to celebrate his birthday.
Ajay Kumar recalled that Rama Rao, in a generous gesture, had donated six ambulances on his birthday last year under ‘GiftASmile’ to help those in medical emergencies.
The Transport Minister also made the announcement about his donation on his twitter handle in reply to a tweet by the IT Minister on Thursday. “Proudly following in the footsteps of our inspiring and compassionate leader KTR anna, I will be donating 50 vehicles to the differently abled people on his birthday. It’s a privilege to work under his leadership” Ajay Kumar noted.

Ajay Kumar called on the party workers to take part in ‘Mukkoti Vriksharchana’, an initiative of Rajya Sabha member Joginipally Santosh Kumar who intended to plant three crore saplings marking Rama Rao’s birthday.
He also appealed to the party cadres to help people in their personal capacities as part of ‘GiftASmile’ and strictly follow Rama Rao’s advise not to spend money on bouquets, cutting cakes or putting up hoardings.
