Hyderabad: About 216 coders and coding enthusiasts put their coding skills to test at the inaugural edition of the Q-City Codethon.
Rohith Sai Reddy from DST won the competition, which was held across two days, and took home a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh. Shivam Kumar from SS&C Technologies was declared the first runner-up and he won Rs 1 lakh. Four other coders won consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 cash each.
Rohith Sai and Shivam stated that competitions like these should be held more often for talented coders as well as people from other domains to express their respective skills.
Q-Hub Start-up Labs is a free incubator space within the Q-City campus for early-stage startups, where aspiring entrepreneurs and the business leaders can gain access to world-class facilities, network with highly ambitious professionals, get experienced mentorship, connect with investors directly, and be a part of a highly vibrant business ecosystem.
