QR codes pasted in Adilabad village to highlight Congress’s unfulfilled promises
Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi accuses Congress of failing to fulfill six key promises after 20 months. She launched a QR code campaign in Mukhra village displaying evidence of unkept assurances to remind voters ahead of elections
Adilabad: Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi on Sunday accused the Congress of winning public support by making false promises and failing to fulfil them even after 20 months in office.
At Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal, she pasted QR codes on the walls of houses to remind people of the unkept assurances. Meenakshi said scanning the codes on a mobile phone would show videos and photographs of the promises made before the elections.
She claimed that six key promises remained unfulfilled, including enhanced Raithu Bharosa, one tola of gold for Kalyana Laxmi beneficiaries, a full-fledged crop loan waiver, and a monthly pension of Rs 2,500 for women.
Questioning when the Congress would act on its commitments, she said the initiative was aimed at ensuring voters did not forget the party’s assurances.
