Quick response from police saves life in Siddipet

Siddipet: Siddipet Rural Police, who responded quickly to a dial 100 call, saved the life of a person who made a bid to end his life by consuming pesticide.
The youth Perumandla Prabhakar (26), a resident of Raghapur, shared a video with his friends and family members informing them that he was going to end his life at 9.30 PM on Tuesday. Since they could not trace him even after an hour long search, the villagers called the police and sought their help in tracing out the man.
Rural SI Shankar, Blue Colts constables, Lingam, Srinivas and Homeguard Mallesham took the help of IT Core personnel, Sashikanth, to track the location of Prabhakar’s smartphone. Since the location was traced to a cotton field on the outskirts of Raghavapur village, the police along with the villagers rushed to the spot only to see Prabhakar in an unconscious state.
They immediately shifted Prabhakar to Government Hospital, Siddipet. Villagers said that family issues was probably the cause behind Prabhakar’s attempt to end his life. They thanked the police officials for the swift response which saved a valuable life. Prabhakar, meanwhile, is stated to be out of danger.
