Raashii Khanna is all set to light up Telugu screens again
Raashii Khanna returns to Telugu films with Telusu Kada, releasing on October 17, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Her comeback marks a new phase with promising roles and packed schedules.

Hyderabad: Raashii Khanna, who won hearts with her very first lead role in Oohalu Gusagusalade, is finally back in Telugu cinema after a short gap. Though she was seen in a small role in Manam, it was Oohalu Gusagusalade that made her a household name. Since then, she has impressed in films like Supreme and Tholi Prema, building a strong fan base with her natural screen presence.
Now, she’s back with two exciting Telugu films. First up is Telusu Kada, where she stars opposite Siddhu Jonnalagadda. The film is scheduled to release on October 17 and will mark her return to the Telugu big screen after two years. Raashii has already wrapped up her portions for the movie.
Following that, she’ll also be seen in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar and starring Pawan Kalyan. The makers recently introduced her character, Shloka, with a poster that shows her holding a camera and smiling warmly. Raashii took to Instagram to share the poster and wrote, “Grateful to be part of this beautiful journey as Shloka. Excited to bring her to life with all my heart.” She is currently shooting for her part, and this schedule is said to be nearing completion.
Raashii’s comeback has sparked quite a buzz among Telugu cinema lovers. She has always picked roles that are both fun and emotional, and fans are excited to see her perform in fresh pairings and stories. In Telusu Kada, she is expected to play a heartfelt role, and her pairing with Siddhu Jonnalagadda has already raised curiosity. In Ustaad Bhagat Singh, her character seems to have more depth, suggesting that she could play a key part in the story rather than just appearing as the heroine.
The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is aiming for a summer 2026 release. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
While Raashii hasn’t appeared in Telugu films since Thank You in 2022, she has been busy with Tamil and Hindi projects. Her recent releases: Aranmanai 4, The Sabarmati Report, and Aghatiyaa, have received positive responses, boosting her career across industries.
Apart from these two Telugu films, she also has a Hindi project titled Time in the pipeline. With Telusu Kada releasing this October and Ustaad Bhagat Singh lined up next, Raashii Khanna’s return to Telugu cinema is already off to a promising start.
