Rachakonda Commissioner asks citizens to utilize ‘discount opportunity’ extended for traffic violators
In Rachakonda so far, 14, 11,625 traffic challans with a fine amount of Rs.13.59 crore were cleared by traffic violators.
Hyderabad: Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat has appealed to citizens to utilize the ‘discount opportunity’ extended by the Telangana State police for traffic violators.
In Rachakonda so far, 14, 11,625 traffic challans with a fine amount of Rs.13.59 crore were cleared by traffic violators.
“People are requested to avail this facility which is available till March 31. Later the traffic e-challans have to be paid as usual,” he said.
The State police announced a discount on the pending traffic challans on March 1 across Telangana.
The people can pay the challan online or at the traffic police compounding booth.
