Rachakonda, Cyberabad Police remember Ambedkar on birth anniversary

Speaking at an event marking the 130th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution, Bhagwat said Ambedkar should not be viewed just as a leader of scheduled castes

Hyderabad: Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s life continues to inspire people, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said here on Wednesday.

Speaking at an event marking the 130th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution, Bhagwat said Ambedkar should not be viewed just as a leader of scheduled castes but one who fought his entire life through all his means for the upliftment any person who is downtrodden or discriminated.

“Essentially, he stood for equality, liberty and justice for all and he gave us all the same principles through the Indian Constitution thereby setting an example to many countries of the world,” he said.

Cyberabad police commissioner V.C.Sajjanar too paid tributes to Dr.Ambedkar at an event organised at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
