Hyderabad: Two youngsters who committed theft of a debit card from a woman and made online transaction of Rs.3.10 lakh from her account, were arrested by the Rachakonda police on Sunday.
The arrested persons were identified as P Srinivasulu (28) and A Uday Manish (19) of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the police, the two persons went to the house of the victim on some work when they stole the ATM/Debit card from her hand bag in the month of February. After taking the card, the duo went to Goa and spent Rs.3.10 lakh in pubs and other recreational places. Later they returned to their native places and were staying there.
The victim had made a complaint with the police about the theft of her ATM/Debit card based on which a case was registered. On Sunday, a special team arrested them from Kurnool and Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. The duo was produced before the court and remanded.
