Rachakonda police raids illegal fertiliser dealers’ party in Maheshwaram resort
Rachakonda SOT police raided a resort in Maheshwaram on Tuesday night where fertiliser dealers allegedly held an illegal party. Around 56 dealers and 20 women attended. Police seized foreign liquor, took participants into custody, and registered cases against them.
Hyderabad: The Rachakonda SOT police raided a resort where an alleged illegal party was being organised for fertiliser dealers on the city outskirts in Maheshwaram on Tuesday night.
According to police, the event was hosted by Rocktar Fertilizers owner Saida Reddy and Veda Agri Fertilizers dealer Tirupati Reddy at K Chandra Reddy Resorts in Maheshwaram mandal.
Around 56 fertiliser dealers and 20 women were reportedly participating in the party, where dance performances were being held.
Acting on a tip-off, police in plain clothes visited the spot, observed the activities, and later conducted searches. Foreign liquor was seized from the premises.
All participants were taken into custody, and cases have been registered against them, police said.
