Hyderabad: Naya Savera, the de-addiction counselling programme conducted by the Rachakonda Police to help drug addicts, is proving to be helpful, with 14 such persons attending the third counselling session here on Tuesday.
The Rachakonda Police, in collaboration with counsellors of Amrita Foundation Society, have been organising de-addiction counselling sessions to drug addicts every week at Rachakonda Police Commissioner’s camp office at LB Nagar. The addicts are those caught by the police in various incidents across the commissionerate.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat advised students, youth and citizens to stay away from drugs. He requested citizens to inform police about drugs consumption and supply on 9490617111.
