Rahul to meet Telangana Congress leaders shortly
Hyderabad: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is likely to meet the State Congress leaders shortly to discuss different aspects, especially differences among the leaders. The Telangana Congress unit had to learn many lessons from the Congress party’s defeat in Punjab in the recent polls, TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yaskhi said. “It is hightime leaders in the State Congress set aside their personal agendas and work for the party’s cause,” he said.
The TPCC Executive Meeting held here on Saturday to discuss several issues, including the Congress party’s performance in the five States. The TPCC had passed a resolution supporting the leadership of Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, he said. During the meeting, the leaders discussed on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s announcement to fill up 83,039 vacancies in different government departments. They also discussed on the digital membership drive and the party’s Mana Ooru Mana Poru programme to be conducted at Kolhapur on Sunday.
