During the investigation, the police discovered that Sathish (32), her father, was the perpetrator. Sathish married Anitha from Sangapur 12 years ago, and the couple had two daughters, Vaishnavi and Haritha (6). Sangareddy: The Raikode police resolved the mystery behind the murder of 11-year-old Madhugadda Vaishnavi, who was found dead in an open agriculture well on the outskirts of Sangapur, her village, on January 16.

During the inquiry, the police found that her father Sathish (32) was the killer. Sathish, who married Anitha of Sangapur 12 years ago, had two daughters Vaishnavi and Haritha (6). However, Sathish, who was suspicious about his wife’s fidelity, used to harass Anitha. Unable to bear the harassment, Anitha left the family last November. She was staying with her relatives in Isnapur since then.

Haritha, the younger daughter, died in December, reportedly of illness. However, Anitha did not even return home to perform the final rites of her daughter. Since then, Vaishnavi had been insisting that she would stay with her mother. She even tried to leave the village with her belongings a couple of times.

However, Sathish had persuaded Vaishnavi to return home. As she continued to insist again, Sathish decided to eliminate her. On the pretext of taking Vaishnavi to her mother, Sathish accompanied his daughter to the outskirts of the village on January 11 and strangulated her to death, and threw the body into the well. When the body was found in the well, the grandparents suspected Sathish’s involvement and lodged a complaint in Raikode police station.

Meanwhile, relatives also suspect the hand of Sathish in the death of his younger daughter who died in December. The police were also inquiring into the death of the 6-year-old girl to find out the cause. The police said that the separation of the couple resulted in the death of two children within two months.
