Rains lash Hyderabad and neighbouring districts through Wednesday night
Hyderabad and surrounding districts witnessed continuous rainfall over 24 hours, with Medchal-Malkajgiri receiving the heaviest showers. HMT Hill recorded 44.5 mm, followed by Gajularamam (36.5 mm), Quthbullapur (36.3 mm), and Patancheru (34.5 mm), according to TSDPS data.

Hyderabad: Incessant rains lashed Hyderabad and its surrounding districts for the past 24-hours.
Medchal-Malkajgiri bore the brunt of the rainfall, as district recorded a downpour that lasted throughout 24-hours, only to relent in the early hours of Thursday.
The maximum rainfall recorded, based on rainfall data from TSDPS between 8.30 am, Wednesday to 8.30 am, Thursday was 44.5 mm at ESS HMT Hill, Hydernagar. Rajiv Gruhakalpa in Gajularamam recorded 36.5 mm, Quthbullapur 36.3 mm, JPN Nagar community hall, Miyapur, Serilingampally in Rangareddy district 36 mm, Shamshiguda recorded 34.8 mm, and Patancheru in Sangareddy district recorded 34.5 mm of rainfall.
