Hyderabad: The city woke up to a rainy Saturday. Several areas towards the outskirts of Hyderabad – including Hayathnagar, Kompally and Shamirpet – received light showers early in the morning. As per the forecast from the Telangana State Development Planning Society, most areas of the city were likely to receive upto 15.6 mm over the weekend.
According to officials at the India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, the sky would generally be cloudy for the next one week. There was a possibility of one or two spells of rain. On Saturday, the lowest minimum temperature in the city was 22.6 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature throughout the day is expected to be around 29 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain was recorded in several districts in the State, including in Siddipet, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhongir and Khammam.
Hayathnagar received the highest rainfall of 6.5 mm.
