Rajanna-Sircilla: 15 women labourers injured in honey bee attack

About 15 women agricultural labourers from Venkatraopet village were injured when a swarm of honey bees attacked them in Konaraopet mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district. The incident occurred while they were plucking cotton in fields between Kanagarthi and Suddala villages.

Rajanna-Sircilla: About 15 women agricultural labourers were injured when a swarm of honey bees attacked them in Konaraopet mandal on Friday. The women, residents of Venkatraopet, had gone to work in a cotton field located between Kanagarthi and Suddala. While they were engaged in plucking cotton, a swarm of bees emerged from nearby trees and attacked them. Farmers and local people shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
