Rajanna-Sircilla: Internal bickerings in Choppadandi constituency Congress party came to the fore with the arrest of party BC cell district president and Mid Manair submerged villages JAC president Kusa Ravinder.
In the wake of Choppadandi MLA Medipally Satyam’s tour programme in Boinpalli mandal on Friday, Ravinder was taken into preventive custody by Vemulawada rural police. Differences between MLA and Ravinder are said to be the reasons for the arrest of a senior party leader.
Party sources said that Ravinder lodged a complaint with TPCC president against MLA’s illegal activities. Reacting seriously on the issue, the legislator recently abused Ravinder with filthy language.
Ravinder brought the issue to the notice of government whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas and informed that he was humiliated by the legislator in the presence of other leaders.
Anticipating that Ravinder may create disturbance in the MLAs tour programme, police took him into preventive custody.
Reacting to the issue, Ravinder said that a district Congress leader was arrested in the Congress regime and said he would bring the issue to the notice of the party high command.
