Rajendranagar tops list with 71 cases; all offenders to appear before court
Cyberabad Traffic Police booked 529 persons, including 417 two-wheeler riders, during special weekend drunken driving checks. Rajendranagar registered the highest number of offenders, followed by KPHB, Gachibowli, and Shadnagar. All violators have been issued court summons.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad traffic police during the special weekend drunken driving check caught 529 persons and booked cases against them.
Among those caught are 417 two wheeler riders, 24 three wheeler drivers and 88 four wheeler drivers.
The Rajendranagar police caught 71 persons, followed by KPHB police – 54 persons, Gachibowli and Shadnagar – 42 persons each.
Cases have been booked against all the persons and they have to appear before the court.
