Yadadri Bhongir: The differences between Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and former Minister K Jana Reddy flared up with the former alleging that Jana Reddy was creating hurdles in his path to become a Minister.

“Jana Reddy, who should have been like Yudhishthira in Mahabharata, is now behaving like Dritharashtra. It pains me a lot,” he said at the swearing in ceremony of the Choutuppal Agricultural Market Committee on Sunday.

“The high command is ready to offer a berth to me. I have the capacity and I am eligible. What’s wrong if two brothers are Ministers in a cabinet,” Rajgopal Reddy asked in the presence of Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and a few other MLAs on the stage.

It may be recalled that Jana Reddy had recently written a letter to the party high command requesting that services of MLAs from Hyderabad and Rangareddy should be considered during the cabinet expansion. This obviously has not gone down well with the Munugode MLA.

During the Lok Sabha elections, Ministers were made incharges for different parliamentary constituencies but for Bhongir constituency, the party high command had appointed me as the incharge. This reflects the party’s confidence in me,” he claimed, also asking whether Congress candidates had won from Mahabubnagar, Malkajgiri, Adilabad, Secunderabad, Medak and Karimnagar constituencies.

“Where did the incharge Ministers vanish?” he asked.

“Why is Jana Reddy, who was a Minister for 30 years, suddenly exhibiting his fondness for Hyderabad and Rangareddy leaders,” Rajgopal Reddy asked, adding that he was not at the mercy of any leader to get a berth in cabinet.
