Rakesh’s double ton goes in vain in TCA league

Hyderabad: Rakesh Kurapadu hit 203 runs but his side Medchal went down to Sangareddy by 19 runs in the Telangana Cricket Association’s U-25 inter-district one-day league, on Thursday.

Batting first, Debanshu Rayaguru hit 108 while P Jagruth slammed 94 to guide Sangareddy to 311/8 in 50 overs. For Medchal, Srikanth scalped four wickets for 71. Later, despite Rakesh’s 203-run knock, Medchal were all out for 292 in 44.2 overs. Rayaguru took three wickets.
