Ram Katamaraja launches ‘Trust Before Intelligence’ book on agentic AI

Ram Katamaraja’s book Trust Before Intelligence was launched at T-Hub in Hyderabad, focusing on the need for enterprises to trust AI before allowing it to act. The event also featured discussions on AI agents and their real-world applications.

Hyderabad: ‘Trust Before Intelligence’, authored by Ram Katamaraja, CEO, Colaberry, was launched at T-Hub, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, bringing into focus a critical question for enterprises in the age of agentic AI: Can we trust AI to act?

The book was released by Flt. Lt. Bipin Pendyala, President, HYSEA, at a programme hosted by Colaberry and CAiRL. Rama Mohan, MD, Colaberry India, was also present.

Author Ram Katamaraja said the question for enterprises was no longer whether AI is intelligent enough. “The question is whether we can trust it enough to let it act. That is the central argument behind Trust Before Intelligence,” he said.

The book raises a pertinent question: Why do 95% of AI pilots fail, while only 5% succeed? “The inspiration for this book came from an MIT paper suggesting that almost 95% of AI pilots fail to make it into production. That made me think about what it really takes to make AI enterprise-ready, based on my experience working with various clients and organisations,” he said.

A key highlight was a fireside chat between Bala Prasad Peddigari and Dr. Rajesh Dhuddu, Ph.D., titled ‘AI Agents in the Real World: From Reasoning to Action.’
