If anybody tries to create trouble for Congress workers when the Minister D Sridhar Babu was not available, the legislator assured that he himself, Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar and Government Whip Ch Vijayaramana Rao would reach Manthani within two hours and hack them to death.

Two ministers Sridhar Babu and Laxman Kumar were present on the dais when Raj Thakur made these comments.

When asked about MLA’s comments, Sridhar Babu on Tuesday said that basically, Raj Thakur was quiet. Being the president of district congress party, Raj Thakur made such comments to instill confidence among the party workers.

He made such comments when some party workers informed him that they were frequently threatened by some people, Sridhar Babu said.

On the other hand, the BRS leaders lodged a complaint with Godavarikhani One Town Police against the MLA.

Speaking on the occasion, party leader Vyalla Harish Reddy said that people were alarmed over Raj Thakur’s comments. Being an MLA, it was not proper on his part to make such comments, he opined, and urged the police to take action against Raj Thakur.
