IRCTC, the premier Travel and Tourism Company under Ministry of Railways, has planned a series of departures of pilgrim special trains during this festive season and with the gradual resumption of domestic tourism in the post pandemic era. In this regard, trains have been planned along the Ramayana Circuit to cover the important places connected with the life of Lord Shri Ram, a press release issued by the South Central Railway (SCR) said.
The first such train commenced its journey on November 7 from New Delhi (Delhi Safdarjung) and will travel up to Rameswaram and return to New Delhi. En route, the train will stop at several important places associated with the life of Lord Ram.
In this circuit, the train during its return journey from Rameswaram to New Delhi will be stopping at Bhadrachalam Road Station, an important station serving the pilgrim town of Bhadrachalam in the Telangana.
