Hyderabad: Ranga Reddy District Collector C Narayana Reddy has assured that the government will take swift legal action to resolve the land dispute involving Padma Shri awardee and Kinnera artist Darshan Mogulaiah.
Mogulaiah had met BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday and sought his intervention after some people attempted to encroach upon the land provided to him by the previous BRS government in Ranga Reddy district.
Responding immediately, Rama Rao contacted the Collector and urged him to address the issue. Following this, Mogulaiah, accompanied by BRS leaders and former Zilla Granthalaya Samstha chairman Satthu Venkataramana Reddy, met the Collector here on Wednesday.
After reviewing the case, the Collector said the issue would be resolved as per the government order (GO) issued for the land allocation. He directed Ibrahimpatnam RDO Ananth Reddy to take appropriate legal steps regarding the court case filed by private individuals and assured Mogulaiah that his rights over the land and house would be protected.
