Ranga, Yashwanth win top Judo honours
P Ranga of Veda Degree College and D. Yashwanth of Sardar Patel College emerged champions in the 60 kg and 66 kg categories respectively at the Osmania University inter-college judo championship
Hyderabad: P Ranga of Veda Degree College won the 60 kg category title in the Osmania University Inter-College Judo Championship for Men at Muffakam Jah College of Engineering here.
In the 66 kg category, D. Yashwanth of Sardar Patel College clinched the honours.
Results: 60 kg: 1. P. Ranga (Veda College), 2. Habeeb Ali Rafai (New Madina), 3. Hasan Ravi (Anwar-ul-Uloom) & Md Shoaibuddin (Lords Institute).
66 kg: 1. D. Yashwanth (SP College), 2. Mohd Mohiuddin (Nawab Shah Alam Khan College), 3. Mohd Ghasari (Lords Institute) & Mohd Sufiyan (Anwar-ul-Uloom).
