Hyderabad: Applauding the upcoming city paddler Balusuri Varun Shanker’s selection to the Indian team that will play in the WTT Youth contender Muscat, State IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said it is good to see three young table tennis players from the state representing the country.
Ranjan congratulated Shanker during the Day One proceedings of the State Championships which got under way in Somnath Ghosh MLR-UTT Academy in Kukatpally Housing Board.
A jubilant Varun said he is all excited to play in the Muscat tournament. “I’m very keen to make use of this latest opportunity,” he said.
