Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh captain Shaik Rasheed led the charge with a confident unbeaten 79 off 161 balls (11×4) and supported by Karan Shinde, who is unbeaten on 41, the duo put on a steady partnership to guide their team to 168/2 in 58 overs on Day 2 of their Ranji Trophy Group B match against Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday.

Earlier, Hyderabad, resuming at 244/5, were bowled out for 301, with Tripurana Vijay’s five-wicket haul leading Andhra’s bowling effort. Hyderabad’s Tanmay Agarwal was the standout, scoring a resilient 159 (12×4, 3×6), but received little support as Andhra bowlers chipped away at the lower order.
