Hyderabad: Eminent Dental Surgeon Prof. Dr MS Gowd has been nominated for Legendary Award 2021 recognition by the Hybiz TV.
As holder of this distinction Dr. Gowd was felicitated on Saturday at a function by the Dr Vara Prasad Reddy, founder and chairman, Shantha Biotechnics, and Dr. G Ranjith Reddy, Member of Parliament, at Sandhya Convention by KMK, Gachibowli.
Dr. Gowd has the honour of being the only dental surgeon of Andhra Pradesh to serve as the President of Indian Prosthodontic Society, and is also the first dental surgeon to be selected as the official dentist for the Governor and has been a Consultant to the Governors of Andhra Pradesh for the last 25 years. He is recipient many National and International Awards, a press release said.
Said Dr.MS Gowd “I am the first person to introduce cosmetic dentistry in our State of Andhra Pradesh. With shorter duration treatments like filling gaps, correcting of discolored or irregular teeth we can make a smile of an individual pleasing. I am also the first in our State to introduce Dental lasers.”
Dr.MS Gowd who graduated from Osmania Medical College has been instrumental in transforming dental care radically and in a span of 50 years of practice apart from 22 years of serving in government service, he also served as Principal, Army Dental College, and leading Corporate Hospitals like Care and Apollo as the Head of Dental wing, the release added.
