Rashmika Mandanna to join Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan in upcoming Telugu film?

Hanu Raghavapudi’s as-yet-untitled romantic period drama has been making news for the past few months now. Featuring Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles, the film’s first few schedules have been shot in Hyderabad and Kashmir.

However, according to ‘Pinkvilla’, actor Rashmika Mandanna has also joined the cast of the film.

“Rashmika’s role is very critical for the film, and the makers were extremely happy when she agreed to be a part of the project. It’s an extended cameo. Meanwhile, the makers have planned an international schedule and are eying Russia as the shooting location. However, the dates and the logistics are yet to be finalised,” ‘Pinkvilla’ quoted a source close to the development.

According to reports, Rashmika had been approached for the film earlier too, but it didn’t work out then because of date issues.

The film, backed by Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies, will see Dulquer play a Lieutenant in the movie while Mrunal’s character is called Sita. Their first looks were unveiled on their respective birthdays. Have a look:

Meanwhile, Rashmika now has a bucketful of projects. She will next be seen in Shantanu Bagchi directorial ‘Mission Majnu’ with Sidharth Malhotra, and Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta.
