Hyderabad: The Keesara police busted a rave party organised in a private villa in Timmayipally village on the city outskirts and arrested 11 persons on Sunday night. Police rescued five women as well.
The arrested persons were D Bhaskar Varma, G Venkatesh, Ch Prabhakar Reddy, B Kumari, Shaik Rafi, V Venu Gopal, S Mallikarjun Reddy, A Venkateshwarlu, N Bikshapathi, N Rajinikanth and K Murali Rao.
According to the police, Prabhakar Reddy, an area manager for a seeds company, had thrown the party for his dealers in view of New Year.
“He contacted Bhaskar Varma, a travel agent and asked him to arrange a good cocktail party. Bhaskar agreed and contacted Venkatesh and Kumari, who booked four villas and arranged women to entertain the customers. They were making money by arranging such parties and exploiting girls,” police said.
Reddy had invited around 40 dealers while Kumari came along with five women, who were offered good money as remuneration and tips. When they dancing, the Keesara police were tipped off and reached the spot.
While the arrested suspects were remanded in judicial custody, the women were sent to a rescue home.
