Hyderabad: Suryakumar Yadav has been knocking the doors of Indian cricket team. He has been scoring runs in domestic cricket and IPL. However, he was left out of Indian teams for the upcoming Australian tour. This has not gone well with critics questioning the selection criteria.
However, Team India coach Ravi Shastri took to twitter to laud the cricketer after his 43-ball unbeaten 79-run knock in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore that saw his side record a five-wicket victory. “Surya namaskar. Stay strong and patient @surya_14kumar #MIvsRCB,” wrote Shastri.
Meanwhile, senior cricket Manoj Tiwary lauded Shastri for encouraging the youngster. “I just wish u were the coach of Indian team during the series where I scored Hundred. Your message like this would have surely helped my international career. Seeing this tweet of urs #Surya will be happy,” said Tiwary.
