Reading enhances knowledge, thinking
Principal Sunir Kaur Nagi narrated a short story about Akbar and Birbal to students.
To let the students know the importance of reading, a virtual webinar on ‘Importance of Reading’ was conducted at Pallavi Model School, Alwal on June 26 for the primary wing. The orator of the webinar for grades III and IV was Ekyom Kaur, junior head girl.
While Monal Thota, junior cultural captain was the orator for grades I and II. The webinar was started by how and why reading is important. Both the orator’s shared their personal experiences of reading and how reading has helped them like it enhances thinking and imparts knowledge.
They even suggested some books to their peer audience to read. Later, the orators did some interaction with the students and teachers on the importance of reading. Principal Sunir Kaur Nagi narrated a short story about Akbar and Birbal to students.
