Hyderabad: Senior BJP leaders on Friday said they were ready for debate anywhere in the State on issues pertaining to agriculture and paddy cultivation. “Anyone in the State Cabinet can take part in the debate with me. I will clear all the doubts raised by the Ministers,” BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind said, addressing a press conference here.

Referring to remarks made by Siddipet Collector P Venkatrami Reddy, Arvind Kumar said, “How can he (Venkatrami Reddy) continue even after making remarks?” he asked. Meanwhile, the State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, while interacting with a vernacular news channel, said the Centre was ready to purchase raw rice. The ruling party leaders were creating confusion among people with duplicate letters, he said.

In a video message, former Health Minister Eatala Rajender said he held several posts, including MLA, for the last 18 years with the blessings of the people. He alleged that the entire machinery worked against him. “As your family member, I will be with you. During these difficult times, it is in your hands whether to support me or not,” Rajender said in an appeal to people in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
