Amaravati: YSR Congress Party rebel MP from Narsapuram K. Raghurama Krishnam Raju, who was arrested on charges of sedition by the state CID, was produced in the VI Additional Munsiff Magistrate court here on Saturday.
Raju, who has been a bitter critic of the YSRCP government in the state, had even sought cancellation of the bail granted to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in a disproportionate assets case. He also appeared regularly in some TV channels known to support the opposition Telugu Desam Party and its president N. Chandrababu Naidu, making some caustic remarks against the state government.

Meanwhile, Raju filed a bail petition in the High Court here which on Saturday suggested him to seek bail in the lower court.
