Red alert issued in three districts of Telangana; IMD warns of extremely heavy rainfall
The IMD Hyderabad has issued a red alert for Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mahabubabad due to extremely heavy rainfall. Orange and heavy rain warnings have also been issued for surrounding Telangana districts, urging residents to remain cautious.

Hyderabad: A red alert of extremely heavy rainfall in three districts, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Mahabubabad, has been issued.
The IMD Hyderabad forecast suggested the possibilities of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall (115.6 mm and more than 204. 5 mm) in these districts.
The weather department has also issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall (up to 204.5 mm) for Jayashankar Bhupalapally district, in addition heavy rainfall warning of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm at Adilabad, Hanumakonda, Kamareddy, Khammam, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Medak, Nirmal, Sangareddy, Suryapet, Vikarabad and Warangal districts.
