Hyderabad: Consumer electronics and smartphone manufacturing company Xiaomi has launched its new series of Smart TVs in India. About six months ago, the company debuted with its Redmi Smart TV X Series and now it is unveiling its Redmi Smart TV Series. The TV will come in two sizes – 32-inch and 43-inch and is an entry-level smart TV from the brand.
Reports suggest that the 32-inch version sports an HD-ready screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, while the 43-inch has an FHD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The TVs support Google Assistant voice control via Bluetooth remote control and are powered by a 64-bit SoC consisting of a quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU and ARM Mali—G31 MP2 GPU. The chipset is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
The Redmi Smart TV Series will be available for Rs 15,999 for the 32-inch TV and the 43-inch will be priced at Rs 25,999. It will be sold via Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes, Mi Studios and Mi Stores across India. The company hasn’t announced the release date but will be available during the upcoming ‘Diwali with Mi 2021’ and ‘Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021’ sales.
