Hyderabad: The All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) on Thursday demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu to release a clear statement on the total extent of the land promised to University of Hyderabad (UoH) at the time of its establishment in 1975.
In a statement here, the AIOBCSA said the 400 acres of land allocated to IMG Academies Bharata Private Limited in 2004 was originally part of the 2,324 acres of land assured to the university.
“The State government must clarify the legal basis for this diversion and whether it was done in violation of the original commitment,” it said.
