It’s a year today since the tragic demise of the Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput.
The 34-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment at Bandra, Mumbai. As per the initial post mortem report, the actor was said to be suffering from depression and had hung himself.
However, numerous people including a few celebrities went on to claim that the actor was murdered. The case was eventually handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is yet to conclude its probe.
On his first death anniversary, many have flooded social media with tributes dedicated to the late actor. #SushantSinghRajput and We Miss You started trending on Twitter. Celebrities are remembering his on-screen performances and off-screen demeanour on social media.
Sushant made his Bollywood debut at the age of 27 with Kai Po Che in 2013 and went ahead to act in films like Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore and Dil Bechara, his last one, among others.
He appeared in 11 films. On the television front, he rose to fame with his role in Pavitra Rishta and followed it up by being a runner-up in the dance-based reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4.
