Warangal: Centre’s decision to repeal all three farm laws is the victory of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as well as farmers, said Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudharshan Reddy. In a statement, the TRS MLA said, “Our Chief Minister has been opposing these ‘black laws’ as they are going to force farmers into a death trap. On the other hand, the Central Government should not amend the electricity act as it would also harm the interests of the farmers in a similar manner,”
“We are also demanding the Centre to make a categorical statement with regard to the procurement of paddy of Yasangi season 2021,” the MLA said. Referring to objections by the Centre on six irrigation projects in Telangana, the MLA demanded that the Centre should fully lift the restrictions on the “Ramappa – Pakal- Rangaya cheruvu lift irrigation project” in Narsampet constituency,” Sudhrashan Reddy said. “As a farmer, I am proud to be a part of the struggle led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the benefit of farmers,” MLA added.
