Republic Day 2026: Traffic diversions and advisory for Parade Ground, Secunderabad

For Republic Day 2026, traffic restrictions will be in place around Secunderabad Parade Ground from 7 am to 12 noon. Citizens are advised to avoid key roads, follow diversion routes, and use Metro Rail. Malkajgiri Police helpline: 8712662999.

Hyderabad: In view of the Republic Day celebrations at Parade Ground, there will be certain traffic restrictions placed in the surroundings between 7 am and 12 noon.

Citizens are requested to avoid roads from Punjagutta, Begumpet to Secunderabad Parade Ground and traffic congestion is expected on surrounding roads of Parade Ground, and also road between Tivoli X road and Plaza X road will be closed.

Traffic congestion is expected at Sangeeth X roads, YMCA X roads, Patny X roads, SBI X roads, Plaza, CTO Junction, Brookbond junction, Tivoli Junction, Sweekar Upakar junction, Secunderabad Club, Tadbund, Balamrai X Roads, Rasoolpura, Begumpet and Paradise. Public are requested to avoid SP Road, MG Road, RP Road and SD Road.

General passengers who intend to travel are requested to start early to reach railway stations and bus stations in time and also advised to utilise the metro rail.

Diversions:

1. Traffic coming from Begumpet towards Sangeeth X roads will be diverted at CTO X roads towards Balamrai Brooke Bond – Tivoli -SweekarUpkar-YMCA St Johns Rotary towards Sangeeth X roads.

2. Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBI-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards YMCA Clock Tower Patny or towards Tivoli-Brook bond Balamrai-CTO.

3. Traffic coming from RP Road towards SBI X road will be diverted at Patny X road towards Paradise.

4. Traffic coming from Sangeeth X road towards Begumpet will be diverted at YMCA towards Clock Tower Patny Paradise Rasoolpura – towards Begumpet.

5. Traffic coming from Bowenpally, Tadbund, towards Tivoli will be diverted at Brook Bond towards CTO – Ranigunj – Tank Bund.

6. Traffic coming from Patny, vehicles will not be allowed towards SBH-Sweekar Upakar, the same will be diverted towards Clock Tower-YMCA or Paradise-CTO.

7. Traffic coming from RTA Trimulgherry, Karkhana towards Plaza will be diverted at Tivoli towards Sweekar-Upakar, YMCA, or Brook Bond, Balamrai, CTO. If the traffic is congested at Tivoli and Club-in the traffic will be diverted towards Bowenpally Market and AOC.
