Researchers from Slovakia tour Kawal Tiger Reserve
A team led by prominent mineral and rock scientist Manjusha Mahajan from Bengaluru visited various scenic spots and percolation tanks within the reserve. They examined several hillocks and trees as part of their research, expressing amazement at some of the older tree species. The team noted that the reserve contains minerals and rocks that could be valuable for future study.

Mancherial: A team of researchers from Slovakia toured Kawal Tiger Reserve to explore minerals and rocks on Sunday.
Led by prominent mineral and rocks scientist Manjusha Mahajan from Benguluru, the team visited different scenic spots of the reserve and some percolation tanks. They checked certain hillocks and trees as part of their research. They said that they were amazed by some aged tree species in the reserve. They opined that the reserve boasts of minerals and rocks which could be studied in future.
Jannaram in-charge forest range officer Sushma Rao, Forest section officer Naheeda Parveen, FBO Srinivas, Krishnamurthy and others were present.
