Hyderabad: Prohibition and Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud on Monday assured that reservations in allotment of bars-cum-restaurants would be announced soon for Gouds, SCs and STs in the State.
Responding to questions from members in the State Assembly here, the Minister said that necessary guidelines in this regard would be issued soon.
He gave this assurance when members drew his attention about reservations and wanted to know whether reservations would also be extended to bars-cum-restaurants in the State besides liquor outlets.
The Minister said the allotment of liquor shops through reservations would be carried out through draw of lots district-wise.
