Residents block road over drinking water shortage in Asifabad

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Carrying empty vessels, residents staged a rasta-roko on a road, demanding that officials address the drinking water crisis at Dabba village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Tuesday.
Women and men from the village blocked traffic on the road in protest against the erratic supply of drinking water through the Mission Bhagiratha scheme. They said they were facing severe inconvenience due to the shortage of drinking water and requested officials to take steps to resolve the issue at the earliest.
