Hyderabad: Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee of Telangana, on Thursday clarified that Monday, ie. October 26 is a restricted holiday and not a closed holiday for Central Government employees.
This clarification was issued after some media reports went viral saying that the Centre had declared a closed holiday for its employees on Monday on account of Dasara festival.
Following this wrong information, some employees unions have appealed to the Telangana Government to declare Monday as a holiday.
