Mancherial: A retired employee warned that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his Ministers would pay the price for delaying payment of statutory benefits to retired employees. He wrote a letter and dropped it in a ballot box along with his vote, which was discovered during counting of votes in Luxettipet on Friday.
Stating that he had retired from government services in 2024 and did not get a single rupee so far, the employee opined that the Congress government duped retired employees and teachers. He cursed that Revanth Reddy and his Cabinet Ministers would pay a heavy price for delaying statutory benefits to employees.
The disgruntled employee further said that the throne of the Chief Minister was not an asset inherited from his father. The photograph of the letter was widely shared on WhatsApp and Facebook.
