Retired SI dies in road accident near Huzurabad
The incident occurred when a car wherein the deceased was traveling towards Warangal hit a roadside palm tree in the outskirts of Huzurabad town. He died on the spot.
Karimnagar: A retired Sub-Inspector, Padi Raji Reddy died in a road accident which occurred near Huzurabad town in the early hours of Thursday.
The incident occurred when a car wherein the deceased was traveling towards Warangal, hit a roadside palm tree on the outskirts of Huzurabad town. He died on the spot.
A native of Nakkapalli in Nadikuda mandal of Warangal district, Raji Reddy worked in anti-naxals operation and SIB. He also worked as Police Officers’ Welfare Association district president.
After retirement, he was staying at Godamgadda area of Karimnagar town. He met with an accident while going to his native village on Thursday morning. His daughter is residing in America.
Learning about the incident, Huzurabad police rushed to the spot and began investigation by registering the case. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
