Hyderabad: After indulging in a war of words in recent times, TPCC president A Revanth Reddy and Sangareddy MLA T Jagga Reddy met cordially at the CLP office in the Assembly premises here on Friday.
As soon as the TPCC president arrived, Jagga Reddy extended greetings and the duo even posed for photographers in the CLP office. Later, the two leaders held a closed-door meeting for over 20 minutes in the office.
The meeting gains significance in the light of the Sangareddy MLA announcing recently his decision to quit the Congress, citing humiliation from leaders from within the party. Making light of the MLA’s announcement, the TPCC president had said it was like a storm in a tea cup.
A few days ago, when Revanth Reddy visited Medak and interacted with party leaders, Jagga Reddy found fault with the TPCC president’s programme.
When media persons sought details of his meeting with the TPCC president, Jagga Reddy refused to share details. Earlier, the Sangareddy MLA announced that he would conduct a public meeting at Sangareddy on March 21.
