Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said on Friday that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy knew fully well that there was nothing in the Formula E race case and that he might not venture to arrest him.
In an informal chat with mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan, he said, “I have done no wrong. I am even ready for a lie detector test.” Referring to Governor Jishnu Dev Varma granting sanction for prosecution, the former Minister said, “Let the law take its own course.”
On the issue of defector MLAs and disqualification, he said the Congress was pressurising defected BRS MLAs to resign to avoid disqualification proceedings, which would damage the government’s image. “They will first make Danam Nagender resign to protect Kadiyam Srihari using technical grounds.”
He predicted that the GHMC elections may be held first, followed by by-elections.
